CSC
Role in the project
CSC will lead of one of the pilots (WP4). It also contributes to sandbox framework (WP2) and compatibility of the sandboxes with HPC infrastructure (WP3).
CSC is a Finnish ICT centre providing services for research, education, culture, public administration and enterprises. CSC is owned by the state of Finland and Finnish higher education institutions. CSC currently has over 600 employees and supports a European-wide customer base of thousands of researchers. In addition, one of the pan-European pre-exascale supercomputers, LUMI, is hosted by CSC. CSC will also coordinate one of the European AI Factories, namely LUMI AI Factory. CSC actively participates in international and national research projects especially related to HPC, AI, data management, and research infrastructures.
