UNIBO

Role in the project

UNIBO’s role in EUSAiR is based on multidisciplinary skills and will support ICSC coordination. UNIBO leads WP5 on training and actively contribute to all WPs.

UNIBO has a long tradition of research at the intersection of law, ethics, AI, and HPC. Its Alma AI is an interdisciplinary research center designed to aggregate and enhance artificial intelligence research across 27 university departments, with over 400 researchers working on AI-related topics. These topics include the Foundations of AI, Humanistic AI, AI for Industry, AI for Health and Well-being, AI for Law and Governance, AI and Education, and AI and High-Performance Computing and Quantum Computing. The research groups are involved in numerous AI projects, including 10 coordinated ones and 4 ERC grants related to EUSAiR and, more broadly, AI & Law.
